Recovery Scholarships



The Hailey Recovery Scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals actively pursuing recovery from substance use disorder by reducing financial barriers to treatment, stable living, and personal growth opportunities that support long-term recovery. Eligible Expenses: Treatment program fees, sober living expenses, counseling and therapy sessions, recovery support services, educational materials, workforce training, certification programs, and other approved recovery-related expenses. Award Range: $500 - $2,500 per recipient Eligibility: Individuals actively engaged in recovery from substance use disorder who demonstrate a commitment to their recovery journey, show financial need, and submit the required application and supporting documentation. Assistance is intended to support continued recovery, personal stability, and a pathway toward long-term success.

Family Scholarships



The Hailey Family Support Scholarship assists families navigating the challenges of a loved one's addiction by providing financial support for counseling, education, and essential resources that strengthen hope, healing, and recovery. Eligible Expenses: Family counseling, support group fees, travel to treatment facilities, emergency financial assistance related to a loved one's treatment or recovery, educational workshops and resources, respite care, and other approved family support services. Award Range: $250 - $1,500 per family Eligibility: Families actively supporting a loved one affected by substance use disorder who demonstrate a financial need and submit the required application and supporting documentation. Assistance is intended to reduce barriers to accessing services and resources that promote healing, resilience, and long-term recovery for the entire family.
Move Mountains Grants


The Hailey Move Mountains Grant provides educational scholarships to individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to recovery and are pursuing education, vocational training, or career certification to build a brighter future. ​ Eligible Expenses: GED preparation and testing, college tuition and fees, trade or vocational school programs, career certification programs (CNA, CDL, HVAC, Cosmetology, Phlebotomy, etc.), required textbooks, supplies, uniforms, certification exam fees, and other approved education or workforce development expenses. Award Range: $1,000 - $5,000 per recipient Eligibility: Individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to recovery, are accepted into or enrolled in an accredited educational, vocational, or certification program, and submit the required application, personal statement, and supporting documentation demonstrating how the scholarship will support their educational, career, and long-term recovery goals.

4. Scoring & Evaluation
Reviewers score using standardized rubric
5. Committee Discussion
Full committee reviews scores and discusses
6. Decision & Notification
Board approves final decisions, applicants notified
7. Fund Disbursement
Approved funds distributed directly to service providers
Award Limit Policy
Applicants may receive one award per Foundation program within a 12-month period.

Recovery Scholarship — One applicant per sober living or recovery residence per calendar month.

Family Support Scholarship — One applicant associated with the same facility, provider, or organization per calendar month.
